Light enough to rocket off a paw, heavy enough to carry. The patent-pending self-settling design keeps the toy out on the open floor — not under your furniture. Now in a 12-pack.
Charlie has been on quality control since the first prototype. This is what the settling design looks like at full speed.

A subtle weight bias helps the Silly Spring settle sooner — so it stops where your cat (and you) can actually find it.
About the size of a wine cork, and that isn't an accident. A lightweight polypropylene spring rockets off a paw instead of thudding across the floor like the heavier ones do. It's small enough for a cat to pick up and carry, which is most of the fun.
We prototyped larger. The cats lost interest, and oversized coils are something a cat can get a leg caught in. This is the size they kept coming back to.
No sharp cut ends. BPA-free, food-safe polypropylene with smooth exterior surfaces throughout.
Injection-molded from premium polypropylene. Withstands batting, pouncing, chewing, and repeated impacts without cracking.
Chosen for feline color vision — no reds or oranges cats can't see. Stands out on carpet, wood, and tile.
Every Silly Spring is molded in a stone building that went up in the 1800s as a fruit cannery, sitting right on the Erie Canal in Upstate New York. The cannery is long gone. The building is full of small makers now, and one of those shops is ours.
The tooling is designed here. The molding happens here. The bags are packed here. Twenty years of injection molding, fifteen of them building medical devices where a bad part is a serious problem — now pointed at cat toys. Same tolerances. Tougher quality inspectors.
Multiple prototypes were rejected before we got it right. The Silly Spring is the toy our three cats actually play with every day — and now yours can too.
Assorted mix of all four colors either way. Both molded in our own shop in Upstate New York.
One of each color. The easy way to find out whether your cat takes to them before committing to a pile of springs.

Three of each color. Enough to stock every room and keep spares for the ones that get batted under the couch and stay there.
